Salei Plains & Loliondo
The heart of the October migration. The Salei Plains and Loliondo area are where the herds pass through on their southward journey. Eastern Serengeti (Lobo Area)

Central Serengeti (Seronera)
The central Serengeti in October offers good wildlife diversity — migrating herds passing through, strong resident populations, and excellent leopard sightings. A comfortable base with good camp availability even 2-3 months ahead.
Ndutu (Southern Serengeti)
By late October, the first migration herds are beginning to arrive in the southern Ndutu area — the start of the new calving cycle. Combining the eastern Serengeti October experience with a visit to Ndutu at month's end gives you both the southward migration and the first calving action.
