What Guests Say About This Safari

We only had six days and were worried it would feel rushed. It didn't. Every park was different, every day was full, and our guide made transitions feel effortless. We saw the Big Five by day three.

Lake Manyara was the surprise highlight — tree-climbing lions just meters from our vehicle. And the Ngorongoro Crater is otherworldly. This safari covers everything a first-timer needs.

We've done safaris in Kenya and South Africa, but nothing comes close. The Kassim family made us feel like we were visiting old friends, not booking a tour.

Common Questions

Complete Safari FAQ

Is 6 days enough to see everything?
Six days covers all four major northern parks and gives you meaningful time in each. It is the most popular itinerary for first-time visitors. If you want more time in the Serengeti, we can extend to 7 or 8 days.
What time of year is best for this safari?
This safari runs year-round. June to October is the dry season with concentrated wildlife. January to March is calving season with fewer crowds and lush green landscapes. Each season offers something different.
Can I customize this itinerary?
Absolutely. Want to swap Lake Manyara for an extra day in the Serengeti? Add Zanzibar? Upgrade to luxury lodges? Tell us what matters to you and we will redesign it — free, no obligation.
Is this safari good for families with children?
Yes. This is one of our most popular family safaris. Six days is manageable for children, the variety of parks keeps them engaged, and our guides are experienced with kids of all ages. Children under 5 get a 50% discount.
What vehicles do you use?
Custom-modified Toyota Land Cruisers with pop-up roofs for 360-degree game viewing. Each vehicle carries a maximum of 6 guests, but most private safaris have 2-4 travelers with the entire vehicle to themselves.
Can I extend to Zanzibar after the safari?
Yes. We add 3-5 days on Zanzibar with a short flight from the Serengeti or a drive from Arusha. White sand beaches, snorkeling, Stone Town history, and spice tours make the perfect complement to safari.
