What Guests Say About This Safari

Going from watching a leopard hunt at sunrise in the Serengeti to floating in turquoise water in Zanzibar within the same trip was surreal. This combination is the reason to visit Tanzania.

Stone Town was a revelation — the history, the food, the narrow alleyways. And waking up on the beach after five days of intense safari was exactly what we needed. Perfectly balanced trip.

Transparent pricing, no hidden fees, and the quality was better than operators charging twice as much. Don't overthink it — book directly with them.

Common Questions

Safari & Zanzibar FAQ

Can I change the split between safari and beach days?
Absolutely. We can do 5 days safari and 5 days Zanzibar, or 4 and 6, or 7 and 3. Tell us what balance you prefer and we will redesign the itinerary for you — free, no obligation.
Which Zanzibar beach is best?
We recommend the east coast (Paje or Jambiani) for the finest white sand and turquoise water. Nungwi in the north is great for snorkeling and has no tidal variation. We will match you with the right beach based on your priorities.
Is the flight from Serengeti to Zanzibar included?
Yes. The bush flight from the Serengeti airstrip to Zanzibar is included in the price. It takes approximately 2 hours with a brief stop in Arusha or Dar es Salaam.
What time of year is best for this combination?
June to October gives you the best safari weather and calm seas in Zanzibar. January to March offers calving season in the Serengeti and warm beach weather. We avoid Zanzibar during the heavy rains in April and May.
Can I upgrade the Zanzibar accommodation?
Yes. We offer everything from boutique guesthouses to five-star beachfront resorts. Tell us your style and budget and we will match you with the right property.
Is this safari suitable for families?
Yes. Children love the contrast between the safari bush and the Zanzibar beach. Our guides are experienced with families, and most beach resorts have kids' clubs and shallow swimming areas. Children under 5 get a 50% discount on the safari portion.
